As the days seem to continue to fly by faster and faster, I’m reminded that I need to ensure I’m making time for the things that really matter. The old saying that life goes by in the blink of an eye is all too true. I’ve been thinking back on my life and realized that I need to adjust my priorities.
In the Bible, Deuteronomy 6:5-7 says, ” You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”
I truly love Jesus Christ, He is my Lord and Savior. I’m so incredibly grateful that I know Him, and continually thank Him for all of my blessings. However, when I read this verse today, I was convicted and realized that I should be talking about Him more and making it my top priority to share His love with everyone around me. I want everyone to know how much I love Him and help lead other people to Him.
It is my prayer that we can all take the time to reflect on these verses and make it our top priority to share Jesus and His love with everyone around us each day.
