I know that I’ve said it before, but it’s apparent that worry and fear is ever-growing in our daily lives. The devil knows our weaknesses and intentionally distracts us with these things in order to try to minimize our faith and take our focus off the peace that Jesus can provide. We need to remember that there is no need to worry, as Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. In the Bible, Hebrews 13:6 says, “So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” We need to continually remind ourselves to have unwavering faith in Jesus; He is in control, and we have nothing to fear.
It is my prayer that we can all continually pray and thank Jesus throughout the day for all of our blessings, and the peace that He provides. The devil is relentless, and therefore our prayers should be as well. Be sure to take time throughout the day to talk with Jesus, giving up your worries and fears to him. Remember that you are never alone. Take comfort in knowing that He is always right there by your side ready to help you with anything and everything that you are facing.
