We’re incredibly blessed to be able to have a fresh start each morning. Every day we have the freedom to choose how we spend our time, what we prioritize, and how we act/react, etc. It’s all too easy to try to take control of our own lives, our plans, and everything around us. However, instead of trying to be in control of everything, we first need to pray and ask Jesus to lead us.
We need to be continually praying and asking Jesus for guidance on where He wants us to be; what He wants us to be doing; and then have patience while we wait for Him to show us His plans for our lives. In the Bible, Psalm 143:8 says, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”
It can sometimes seem scary to take that step of faith, give up your sense of control, and completely trust that Jesus will take care of everything, but that is exactly what we all need to do. We need to have unwavering faith and trust in Jesus, knowing that He is all we need, and let Him guide the way. Be sure to continually pray, talk with Jesus, and ask Him to lead you each day.
